Reporting a wrong answer or a bad question

This is the most useful thing you can send us. Please include:

• The page address.
• The question id, which appears with every question, or the first few words of the prompt.
• What you believe the correct answer is, and the reasoning.

The reasoning matters more than the verdict. A report saying “the key looks wrong” tells us to check; a report explaining why the distractor is defensible tells us how to fix it, and sometimes tells us the item is ambiguous rather than incorrect — which needs a different remedy.

Disputed items are suspended immediately and stop being served while we investigate, rather than staying live during the argument. Confirmed errors are corrected, the item is versioned, and the change is published on the corrections log. We do not edit mistakes away quietly.

Reporting an out-of-date fact

If a time limit, question count or policy statement on this site no longer matches reality, tell us and point us at the source if you have one. Every factual claim we publish is tracked with the date we last checked it, and a report from somebody who has recently tested is often the fastest signal that something has moved.

We are particularly interested in discrepancies against the current delivery-provider information, since that is our operational source of truth for the exam’s structure.

Accessibility barriers

If something here does not work with your assistive technology, that is a defect and we treat it as one. Include the page, what you were trying to do, and — if you are comfortable sharing it — your browser and assistive technology. Known limitations are published on the accessibility page rather than discovered by users.

Reviewing our material

We are looking for reviewers with genuine, verifiable backgrounds in assessment design, mathematics, language, physical science, aviation and accessibility. Aviation is our most acute gap. Security issues

Please report privately and give us a reasonable window before disclosing publicly. Details of what we ask for are on the security and data page.

What happens to a report after you send it

Setting expectations, because “we take all feedback seriously” means nothing.

A disputed answer key. The item is suspended immediately — it stops being served while we look at it, rather than staying live during the argument. If you are right, the item is corrected and versioned and the change appears on the corrections log. If the item was ambiguous rather than wrong, it usually gets rewritten anyway, because an item two reasonable people read differently is a bad item.

An out-of-date fact. We recheck it against the source and update the register with a new verification date. If the change is material, it propagates to every page carrying the claim rather than just the one you reported, and it is logged.

An accessibility barrier. Treated as a defect and prioritised above new content. If we cannot fix it quickly, it goes on the known-limitations list so the next person is told rather than left to discover it.

We cannot promise an individual reply to everything, but a report that identifies a specific problem will get acted on whether or not it gets answered.

What we cannot help with

• Your official scores or your test date. We have no access to either. Your recruiter, ROTC cadre or OTS point of contact is the only route.
• Predicting your AFOQT result. Nobody outside the Air Force can convert practice performance into a percentile — see our methodology for why.
• Real test questions. We do not have them, we would not distribute them, and we ask you not to send them to us. Recalled content is a testing-integrity problem for you as well as for us.

Please do not send us your practice results

We occasionally get asked to look at a score and say whether it is good enough. We cannot, and it would be irresponsible to guess: practice performance does not convert to an AFOQT composite, and the minimums that matter come from your commissioning source rather than from us.

How we handle what you send

We keep a message so we can act on it — for example, to correct an item you reported — and we do not use contact details for marketing. Our full position is in the privacy policy.
